Who am I?  My background is in marketing, but I have always had a strong passion for the creatively written word.  A former teacher, I spent a few years in Scandinavia teaching English at business colleges before returning to New York and continuing a marketing career.  I’ve completed several copywriting projects in a diverse array of fields, including architecture, design, museum studies, and travel.  My work tends to focus on simplification and communication.  I enjoy taking an interesting topic and presenting it to readers in an informative, public-relations style of “clean” copy.    With each new project, I take a very straightforward approach to my work -- I like to look at what you’re currently presenting, and improve upon it.  Your overall image and lasting impression to potential clients is incredibly important to me.    Past projects have included web content, branding material, brochures and ad copy, interviews, biographies, staff manuals, and article ghostwriting.  I also volunteer my time to specific projects in Denmark, with groups or individuals working to enrich our community, which you can read more about here.   Copy I've written has appeared in material for businesses, artists, and institutions, including: The American Museum of Natural History Central Park Conservancy Laura Bohn Design Associates The Sundy House Ronny Morris Orbitz.com Behr Paint Mocana Please use the "E-mail" link to the left to get in touch, and let's discuss your upcoming projects!
